Tecnam Aircraft releases a seven-part short YouTube series \u201cThe Nest,\u201d opening its doors to aircraft enthusiasts worldwide for the first time. The series invites viewers into the world of Tecnam\u2019s Italian style, advanced and sustainable avionics, and never-before-told stories of the company\u2019s people and legacy.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Capua, Italy, June 21, 2022 – <\/span><\/b>Italian aircraft manufacturer Tecnam<\/span><\/a> recently published a <\/span>seven-part YouTube series titled \u201cThe Nest\u201d<\/span><\/a> to provide an exclusive tour of their Capua-based facilities, introduce their people and share their heritage with the company\u2019s global network of aircraft enthusiasts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the first time ever, the company opens its doors \u2013 the doors to its Nest \u2013 to the world, showing the remarkable process of Tecnam engineering and design. This process of combining tomorrow\u2019s technology with centuries of heritage steeped in both beauty and innovation, is what has defined Tecnam Aircraft since its inception in 1948.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The five-minute series echoes the voices of three generations of Tecnam: the Pascale family, beginning with Il Professore \u2013 Luigi Pascale <\/strong>– and his brother Giovanni, the founders of Tecnam \u2013 and continuing with the company\u2019s current CEO Paolo Pascale<\/strong> and his son Giovanni Pascale Langer the Managing Director,<\/strong> and Maria Clara Pascale Langer<\/strong>, Head of Accounting & HR.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In three generations, the company has not only remained under the wings of its founding family, but it has cultivated a family of its own. In <\/span>episode two<\/span><\/a> of the series, Maria Clara explained:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt may seem obvious, but above all family is the first, the most important [company value]. Not just family in terms of blood, [\u2026] but family as people working united every day, side by side, to achieve a common goal.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>episode five<\/span><\/a>, Marketing & Communications Manager Stefano Mavilio<\/strong> revealed that Tecnam has also seen generations of employees building their careers and their own family legacy into this family-owned and run business.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs the Pascale family is in the third generation, also the employees are the third generation,\u201d said Mavilio.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Chief of Sales Walter Da Costa<\/strong>, this family bond is what differentiates <\/span>Tecnam<\/span> on the market. \u201cWe are special. We have passion here,\u201d Da Costa said in <\/span>episode 7<\/span><\/a>.<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> passion for their craft and their common vision is palpable in The Nest series. From the voices of Tecnam experts to testimony of their partners, the company\u2019s commitment to beauty, comfort, safety, innovation, and the broader aviation community are evident on every factory floor and in each interview.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the series, aircraft enthusiasts are taken to what is descriptively named as the \u201cheArt\u201d of Tecnam, exploring how designers take inspiration from their Italian heritage and its breathtaking nature, watching technicians assemble the aircraft using state-of-the-art avionics, and understanding Tecnam\u2019s commitment to the green future of aviation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s approach to sustainable innovation is to engineer solutions with immediate and real-life applications. As such, Tecnam has quickly become the first choice of flight schools and airlines alike. As R&D Director Fabio Russo<\/strong> explains in <\/span>episode four<\/span><\/a>, it is estimated that flight schools can cut up to 10 tons of CO<\/span>2<\/span> emissions per student in one and a half years of their training. Fuel efficiency, among other factors, also makes flight training with Tecnam up to 50% cheaper than with other aircraft.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo be the best, they [have to] train with the best,\u201d said Giovanni Pascale Langer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it is not only Tecnam\u2019s superior performance that is winning their clients and partners over.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In episode five, CEO of Oriens Aviation UK Edwin Brenninkmeyer<\/strong> cites Tecnam management\u2019s on-the-ground presence and passionate involvement as a key element that places this brand in a league of its own.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGiovanni, so the third generation, he has actually worked on the short floor. He has built his airplanes himself, so he has a relationship with the engineers, with the technicians and with the craftsmen, that\u2019s so, so important,\u201d said Brenninkmeyer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding to Brenninkmeyer\u2019s insights, Mavilio recounts how Managing Director Giovanni Pascale personally made the cross-Atlantic ferry flight to deliver the P2012 Traveler to a U.S.-based customer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know any other company where the Managing Director flies personally the first aircraft to deliver to a customer,\u201d said Mavilio.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
