Seven new aircraft to train Viva future pilots.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Capua \u2013 Tecnam and\u00a0Viva<\/strong>\u00a0today announced the purchase of\u00a0six (6) single-engine P2010TDI models and one (1) multi-engine P2006T NG<\/strong>\u00a0for its Pilot Academy expansion programme.<\/p>\n

The Six (6) Tecnam P2010TDI and one (1) P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2025. Further aircraft are on option as well as\u00a0two (2) twin engine<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>Tecnam aircraft and\u00a0twelve (12) single engine<\/strong>\u00a0Tecnam aircraft. The aircraft will be used from PPL \u2013 Private Pilot License \u2013 to advanced commercial pilot training such as CPL(A), IR(A) and MEP(L) as well as for integrated ab-initio commercial pilot training.<\/p>\n

Viva is an ultra-low-cost Mexican airline and decided to open its own Pilot Academy to provide its students with all the training they need to become highly qualified pilots in a short time.<\/p>\n

With the first aircraft arriving in the first quarter of 2025, the Academy will start with 2 groups of 25 students per year and grow from there. This acquisition will also strengthen the existing Viva Pilot Cadet Programme, which will help to meet the airline\u2019s growing demand for pilots.<\/p>\n
