These new models reinforce Tecnam\u2019s commitment to providing a varied yet versatile offer to the Special Mission customers worldwide.<\/p>\n

Expanding the P2012 Multi-Mission Capabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0P2012 Special Mission<\/strong>\u00a0builds on the proven success of the P2012 platform, offering unmatched flexibility for a variety of applications, including\u00a0aerial surveillance, border patrol, medevac, terrain mapping, geo mapping, sky diving, cargo transport, and more customized configurations<\/strong>. Operators now have the choice between two engine options: the previously existing Lycoming TEO-540-C1A and\u00a0the lately introduced Continental GT-SIO-520S<\/strong>, ensuring optimal performance for specific mission requirements.<\/p>\n

Introducing the P2012 Traveller Continental SMP and P2012 STOL Continental SMP: Reaching the Unreachable<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designed for operations in the most challenging environments and widening the offer for our Special Mission customers worldwide, with the new engine option, now all the three variants of the aircraft (Traveller Lycoming, Traveller Continental, and STOL Continental), can be declined as a Special Mission Platform aircraft. The\u00a0P2012 Traveller Continental SMP\u00a0<\/strong>brings back the \u201cclassic\u201d piston engines management, granting added range, endurance, and an intuitive engine layout, meanwhile the\u00a0P2012 STOL Continental SMP<\/strong>\u00a0variant also adds\u00a0exceptional takeoff and landing performance\u00a0<\/strong>on short and unprepared runways with its\u00a0extended 16.6-meter wingspan<\/strong>\u00a0and enhanced lift devices, thus significantly reducing the required runway length, and contemporarily reducing minimum mission speed for a better persistence on its target.<\/p>\n
